Edwin Valero is hot and on the rise! He had just proved himself that he is for real after an explosive performance by defeating
Antonio DeMarco to retain the World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight title. Valero, from Venezuela, showcased his boxing skills by overpowering, outboxing and outclassing DeMarco during their title fight. Valero is still undefeated with a fight record of 27W-0L with 27KOs. He is truly a knockout artist.
Valero could be considered to be the next
Manny Pacquiao but he got his own styles and skills; the Pacman got his own forte too. Just after his victorious title defense, Valero said he would like to fight the pound-for-pound king of boxing, Pacquiao, and that people would definitely like to see it happen. Well, I do want it to happen.
Pacquiao-Valero would be another must-see fight if it will happen and terms are totally agreed by both fighters. Valero would definitely would go up the weights if he wants the Filipino boxer to be with him in a ring. Being in his prime, I believe Valero can keep his strength and power if ever he would be in welterweight.
